2022 has three two’s however on 1/1/1, Sandy won the 1-1-1 tourney at NBCC (1st Mo., 1st Day, 1 Club). We then traveled to Jackson Hole for a wonderful Four Season’ experience. Steep and not so deep skiing. We proceeded to Vail for a wonderful winter wonderland with sledding and skating for Lexie and Nicholas and tremendous powder Skiing with Wil Wilson and friends in Beaver Creek.
Nicholas continued his baseball prowess in the Spring with the Newport Beach Tridents 14u Travel Baseball Team. We enjoyed competitive tournaments and weekends in Reno and Las Vegas. Nicholas won Athlete of the Year at NCS and played Football, Basketball and Volleyball.
Lovely Lexie moved from Mater Dei to Pacifica Christian High School (PCHS) in the Fall and joined friends on the very talented PCHS Tennis Team. Lexie played #1 singles and led her team to a 2nd Place finish in CIF! Lexie also won 2nd Team All-League Honors.
Spring brought fun events at NBCC including Easter Brunch and a golf trip to Kohler, Wisconsin for Sandy
Lexie sang beautifully after a rough start at the Mater Dei Choir Performance
The MacDougall’s then travelled East for our annual MacDougall family reunion visit to Ligonier and Rolling Rock over the 4th of July. We rafted, enjoyed some golf, pickle ball, a fun barn party and some trampoline flips with cousins
We motored through Cincinnati where we caught a Reds Game and then joined Tony and Sandra Lyon and Family in Nashville for some Honky Tonk!
Nicholas celebrated his 14th Birthday in August with a Paint Ball party followed by a trip to San Diego where they surfed and bodysurfed all summer long!
Our Summer also included a trip to Dallas for some wakesurfing and to visit TCU and SMU for Lexie and to visit Janet and Scott and family and the Swan’s. We also ventured to the Boys To Men Weekend at Calico Lake at Captain Smitty’s Compound where we water skied and wakeboarded.
Fall included a trip to Toronto, Canada for some fall foliage golf and good laughs. Nicholas made great plays at Quarterback for his Newport Christian School Flag Football team.
We continued to enjoy our fractional interest with my Sister Polly and her husband Brad in our Palm Desert House in Marrakesh CC
We also had our Chisholm Family Olympics in Palm Desert and a weekend VIP Trip to Kansas City for a KC Chiefs game with UCLA and USC friends (LtoR), Mark Burns, Guy Johnson, Michael Slater, David Obbage and John Broderson
Sharon loves to entertain and she always loves to help others enjoy a nice evening. We hosted a Breakfast Club of Newport Beach Wine Tasting at our house in CDM with good times for all.
Sharon excelled in her volunteer efforts at School, Church and in the political arena. Sharon also played NBCC Team Golf and successfully captained her PacSun C2 Tennis Team.
We are blessed with our Pug Dougie, Mariners Church and the American Dream
Mortgage Vintage and CrowdTrustDeed lodged a record year in the Private Money Lending and Trust Deed Investment business with dedicated and amazing contributions from the entire team. MVI continues to originate loans to improve properties and neighborhoods across California and CTD provides over 10% annualized secured non-correlated cash flow to our loyal investors.
Sandy continued to serve on the California Mortgage Association (CMA) Board of Directors, spoke at numerous Conferences as a member of the Education Committee and served as the Chairman of the Events Committee. Sandy continues to work with CMA to maintain and grow its Mission of providing Education, Advocacy and Resources For California Private Money Lenders
